Dec 5, 2008 - No serious unbiased scholar of climate science doubts global warming is happening; the dispute is whether we are causing it or not. I personally feel that the claims of how MUCH we affect it are exagerated. And the whole "global cooling" thing does not actually contradict global warming; after the planet has warmed, the ice caps will melt, and dilute the gulf stream, turning off the global conveyor and cooling the planet. Its self correcting. Something liberals overlook; the planet heals itself.

Dec 5, 2008 - The ice caps are not melting. There are natural trends in the temperature, and we are going through a warm phase. There was a cool phase in the 60s and 70s. Ice caps melt a little, and then they grow again. It's a natural cycle.
