AAAA.041935Z JULY 2008 This video is where Oxford Street divides Looking straight ahead is the Upper part of Regent Street W1 leading on to Langham Place W1 and the church is All Souls which is almost next to the BBC.[This is out of the picture]..The traffic is coming from a northerly direction to go south into the rest of Regent Street then on to Piccadilly Circus W1..The camera turns for a brief moment to the western half of Oxford Street...Buses, cabs, galore..And of course not for getting the pedestrians some times in waves then thinning out, But walking over the crossing when the lights are Red ! hence drivers give a warning sound on their horns. Motorists are allowed up and down Regent Street but not into Oxford Street until near Marble Arch..Buses and Cabs rule here and there are many, sometimes one or two motorists get through but the police have cameras all over these streets. It is a temporal paradise for the pick pockets !! The pavements on the western and eastern side of Oxford Street are swarming with people.......AR.
