This is a segment from a Burton Snowboards sales video that I created for Jager DiPaola Kemp in Burlington VT back in 1998. I built the robot with a flexible armature, based on a scultpture the design team had come up with. I then animated the robot using stop-motion animation on my DV camcorder, and composited various live action elements to create the finished piece.
