I am revealing the "secret" of the famous "Lamkovak" (Czech for "Drunk") here. For the first time it is possible to see the rudder deflections (left bottom corner)in real time along with the figure. But that is not all there is to it. The timing is extremely important! The actual figure is beeing provoked by the propeller torgue combined with a ballistic flightpath at the exact! right second. Rather difficult to achieve. But very satisfiyng once its done right :) Have fun practising.This figure revolutionised freestyle Aerobatics in the late 70s when Czech Pilots flew this figure with their Zlins for the first time. The aerobatics community was absolutely stunned and a nearly mystic aura surrounded the Lamcovak. Quite a few planes where lost during the attempt to reproduce. It seemed impossible to steer your plane into a summersault tumble and everybody was wondering how it is done.Can You figure it out?Shown here is a "classic" Lamkovak with two and a half consecutive forward tumble rolls.
