(smiles)Kevin: (smiles) I see you decided to tag along.Kaya: Yeah... I hope that's okay.Kevin: Oh yeah, it's totally okay.Kaya: (smiles) So... Pretty nice place, you've got here.Kevin: Thanks. You want some food?Kaya: Sure.(They go over to the food)Kaya: Oh, we invited, or technically I invited, someone else to come too.Kevin: Who?Kaya: Jenni.Kevin: Wait, is this the same Jenni-Kaya: -we saw in Big Bear? Yeah... Apparently she lives in Malibu.Kevin: That's not too far.Kaya: Exactly. And I though I'd invite her, because frankly... I think it's time Nathan get a girlfriend.(Kevin laughs)Frankie: (walks up to them) Kevin!Kevin: Oh, Frankie say hi to my friend Kaya. (turns back to Taylor) What am I supposed to do?Joe: What?Taylor: Remember that girl that Nathan met at the dance club?Joe: Jenni?Taylor: yeah, well apparently she lives in Malibu and Kaya invited her to come to the barbeque.Nathan: Again, what am I supposed to do?Joe: What do you mean? Don't you kinda like her?Nathan: Yeah, but I barely know her.Joe: You gave her your number.Nathan: Yeah but-Joe: -Come on, this is perfect. You can make your move without feeling pressured because you basically know everyone here. It's a chillax environment.Taylor: Wow, good point... but 'chillax'?Joe: Mhm.Nathan: Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm gonna go get something to eat. (he leaves)Taylor: You're not gonna go with him?Joe: Nope. Taylor: Wow. I don't think I've ever seen you refuse an invitation to eat.Joe: Well, I kinda wanted to ask you something.Taylor: Okay, shoot.Joe: Well Nick and Layla are going out on their 'first official date' on Sunday... and well I was hoping that maybe you'd want to go out Sunday too.Taylor: (smiles) That's not a question.Joe: What?Taylor: Nevermind... So you want to go out on Sunday, huh?Joe: Yeah, but it doesn't even have to be a date... if you don't want it to be.Taylor: (smiles) I'd love to go out on a date with you.Joe: (smiles) Really?Taylor: Yeah.Joe: (gives out a sigh of relief) Thank god. Because for a second there, I thought you might say 'no'.Taylor: Why would I say 'no'?Joe: I don't know... Maybe you thought I was like annoying or something.Taylor: You're not annoying... you're amusing. (laughs)Joe: Thank You?Taylor: (smiles) Come on, let's go see what Kevin and Kaya are up to.--2 hours later--(Nick, Joe, Layla, and Taylor are all standing around talking)Nick: Looks like Nathan and Jenni are really hitting it off.Layla: (looks over) Ewww.Joe: What?Layla: My brothers 'hitting it off' with a girl.Taylor: (laughs) Look, they're coming over here.Nathan: Hey guys, I think we're gonna take off.Layla: 'We'?Nathan: Yeah. Jenni and I... are you two gonna make it home okay?Taylor: I don't know if you've noticed, but we live a block away.Nathan: Just checking.Jenni: Well it was nice meeting you all.Nick: Yeah, you too.(Jenni and Nathan leave hand in hand)Taylor: Look at that. He's known her for less than a week and already they're almost a couple.Joe: Nathan's got skills.Layla & Taylor: Ew.The next one picks up where this one finishes... I couldn't get it all to fit in one chapter.... but it probably won't be up till tomorrow... I just felt like putting this up too... But that's enough chapters for one nightor who knows maybe I will post up the next one... we'll see
