Aug 4, 2008 - Nickelodeon didn't care about the content of their own creations (though they saw fit to lop, crop, and chop the Looney Tunes cartoons for everything from dangerous imitatable actions to racial stereotypes) back then, though they did see some problems with Ren and Stimpy and this one. Unlike Ren and Stimpy, the innuendo in Rocko's Modern Life isn't detectable until about the second or third viewing (which is why certain gags in certain episodes were only shown once or twice).
